Well, that was a lot of effort for what basically amounted to a single amuse-bouche, but.......I know how to make stuffed squash flowers now! (or.....at least A stuffed squash flower.....) Pictured along with the plant that produced it in the background.

The stuffing is ricotta with parsley from my garden, some lemon zest, salt and pepper. Dredged it in milk and flour and fried it in canola oil.
