Four years ago, we had these bottle babies - the Squash Bugs (named after types of squash) - who had to be kept in a cage between feedings because they weren't yet litter box trained. Here, they were screaming to be fed (I actually had their sister in my lap drinking her bottle.) It's not the sharpest, clearest picture ever, but it's one of my favorites. So, about a month and a half ago we noticed these large, unusual bugs trying to get inside. I have to say that they were wildly persistent and at times extremely creative. Their favourite trick was to wait patiently either on one of the windows or by the door for someone to open it and then fly in quickly. They could be found outside at all times, somewhere, waiting…
