Attack for @squidpizza featuring Corth! They seem to be overlooking the various planets.
It was fun drawing Corth again after so many years. For those who may not know, Corth was an adoptable design I made and then sold to squidpizza. It was interesting to draw them again.
Out of the traditional dungeons & dragons colors/elements, which do you consider the most interesting, and why?
I would probably have to say the Blue dragon, if only because the Blues are just my favorites.
I do find their general lore interesting, both in how organized their society is, and how, because they emphasize the Lawful part of Lawful Evil, they sometimes just end up being Lawful Neutral instead.
To be fair I handle it better than most.
Just calmly and kindly give them some information and advice, give them a cookie, a pat on the back, and send them off to ponder their thoughts.
Honestly I’m just really happy to have a super interactive follower base even though I have less than 200 followers.

Besides the guardianverse, what other projects do you have? You mentioned you had like 9 other things and I'm curious as to what those are. (Doesn't have to be in-depth, like a very general overview works)

1) The GUARDIANverse (main book series, the sequel series, and possible spinoffs)
2) Apocalypse Kaijuverse
3) Halloween World
4 ) A Kaijuverse labeled “ENTER THE GRAVITY DOME” in my notes. Honestly this one requires a post of its own, especially since it’s a conglomerate of previous scrapped Kaijuverses that I basically just smashed together and revived with a little something extra.
5) Ultimate Weapon Kaijuverse: “Earth, it was once a beautiful planet that flourished with life…But that was then, and humanity changed all that…In the year 2564 Humanity has completely taken over. All that technology, all that power; it corrupted them. The world is mostly polluted and barren of life. The only nature nowadays are the small patches located across the world. The government was also susceptible to change. After countless wars and disasters the democratic government is gone. The upper class leeches off the labor of the lower class, and have no regard for them whatsoever. It’s a system that practically uses slavery, but citizens of the lower class are brainwashed at a young age to devote their lives to the system. All that is left are the cruel, heartless multitude of dictatorships that are centered around the major Kaiju-creating industries. These industries are the real rulers. Everything was centered around war. Countries kept trying to create the ultimate weapon, and eventually they did. They were the kaiju.In this blood-thirsty future, they are the ultimate weapon. Never tiring, indefinitly customizable, and always willing to go to war; they are the greatest weapon known to man.”
6) A Kaijuverse where aliens from another dimension compete against each other by creating Kaiju and sending them to a specific planet. The race who’s Kaiju defeats all its enemies wins. Think BattleBots, but with Earth as the arena and humanity caught in the middle. The main Kaiju is based off of the Spider Mastermind from DOOM 2016. When the main Kaiju crash lands on Earth it loses its memory and becomes a gentile defender of Earth and all life. The main Kaiju, due to its new kind nature, will give some opposing Kaiju a choice to become good. The race that made the main Kaiju send a better, second version as a replacement (this time the landing was successful). This second version is bigger, scarier, and pure evil. The main Kaiju has many abilities that it will have to remember it has it the first place, and how to use them. (LEAST CONCERN)
7) A Kaijuverse where the main Kaiju is a Tyrannosaur that changes its appearance to counter it’s opponent by retreating and going through a metamorphosis. Its main enemy is a charizard-like dragon that never stops evolving/mutating/going through a metamorphosis. (LEAST CONCERN/CHOPPING BLOCK)
8) A Kaijuverse called “Kaiju rebels”. Humanity has become a multiplanitary species that is in an alliance with multiple alien species and they genetically engineer Kaiju to protect their cities or perform specific tasks. They make Kaiju by just genetically engineering organisms and adding a Kaiju Growth Serum. The Kaiju are then raised and slightly educated on a planet made specifically for this purpose. The educational system only educates Kaiju on jobs that they are allowed to have (planetary exploration, transportation, entertainment, and city defense). The main character is a yellow multi headed (like TT’s old Hydra) naga. She’s headstrong and a good leader. The second character is a weird dinosaur with symbiotic plants on its back that can function underwater and are fireproof. He has a sharp toothed beak and one eye in his mouth. He’s strong and sometimes dumb, but he has a big heart. The third character is a weird mix. He’s black and six limbed. His front limbs are normal, but his second set of limbs are wings that work like organic jet engines. His hind limbs are like smasher mantis shrimp claws that can also be used for walking. His head is like TT’s Kemlasulla. He’s a smart ass who seems cruel hearted, but he’s just never had friends before due to being a very different breed from everyone else. There’s a crisis where the dead bodies of Kaiju are coming back to life Resident Evil style. This results in the defeat of many city defense Kaiju. The main characters rebel against protocols and end up traveling to the source of the problem and they stop to refuel on three different planets. One planet is mountainous and foggy and another is completely covered in ocean. The things that keep turning Kaiju corpses into zombies will either be nanobots or… Formaerem… Eventually the characters also gain the attention of all other kaiju in this setting and reveal some deep dark secrets which in turn causes almost all the kaiju to threaten to rebel against humanity unless they are given proper rights as sentient beings. (this story can also be changed to become a spinoff of the GUARDIANverse if that would be more successful).
9) An ocean themed/underwater Kaijuverse. Main kaiju are a two legged colossal/giant squid, a gorilla sperm whale, a frog fish/hand fish/anglerfish, and a little blue ringed octopus “pet”. Connected to Kaiju Rebels.
10) Year of The Dragon Kaijuverse: Features mostly prehistoric animals that look like dragons. Main kaiju are a Yi Qi (Yin) and microraptor (Yang) Kaiju. (LEAST CONCERN/POSSIBLE CHOPPING BLOCK)
11) Prehistory Kaijuverse: The main characters are a Tyrannosaurus/Guanlong hybrid, a raptor made of several dromeosaur species, and a Spinosaur that has a connection with plants. Little dubstep isopod alien that behaves like cat bug. The story was told through the perspective of the kaiju, who were as smart as people and could communicate. This was the first Kaijuverse I ever came up with. (CHOPPING BLOCK)
12) Arthropod Kaijuverse. This one is probably my second one I ever created and could possibly need to be revived, but I don’t quite want to scrap it because the kaiju designs are actually pretty cool. (LEAST CONCERN/CHOPPING BLOCK)
13) Kaiju Fusion. This is one of my earliest ideas and still remains as one of my more creative. Basically the kaiju are rather normal and almost bland looking in terms of design, but the kicker is that they all possess the ability to be able to temporarily combine with other kaiju to form a stronger and cooler looking one. I honestly don’t want to scrap this because it’s one of my more fun ideas and the setting reflects this by being light hearted and upbeat.
What do you consider your most treasured memory? Is it something you consider formative?
“I think...my most treasured memory may also be one of my most painful. I was still a young dragon, by dragon standards at least, and was having my first open flight. I invited many to come celebrate before the event, hoping to get to know my potential suitors, when I met...”
“It is hard, remembering Drorko. Those were some of the happiest moments of my life, but the memories seem so bitter without him to share them.”
What do you want your legacy to be? In later ages, what do you hope they say about you?
"I would like my legacy to be that I did not fail my people. When I am gone, if I ever am gone, I would like those who come after me to look back at my life and say that, if not perfect, that my time as the ruler of Ouroborus' Children was a good one. I want there to be ages past my own; great ages that can thrive because I did not fail in this one."
“I suppose, on a more humble scale, I would like what I learned to be recorded and remembered, so that future scholars can stand on my shoulders and see over the mountains of uncertainty.”
:germ: parasites
Unsurprisingly, there are thousands of organisms endemic to the guardian society that are adapted specifically for parasitizing guardians. Of course, because of the wildly varying biochemistries between guardians, a parasite often evolves to live off of one specific guardian and maybe a few others with very similar biochemistries. It might seem a little stupid to only be able to parasitize one person, but when that person is the size of a skyscraper, can effectively live forever, and can heal from any wound, it’s a pretty good investment in the long run.
As for how the guardians themselves respond to being parasitized; they usually treat it like a badge of honor, because that means you’ve been a part of the guardian society long enough for an entire species to adapt specifically to you. And that’s pretty awesome. And if you’ve been around really long, then eventually an entire ecosystem might form around your presence. And that’s even more awesome.
Of course, guardians keep their parasites in check. You don’t want so many that they start negatively impacting your life, and species that interfere or harm a guardian’s infinity organ (what is effectively their heart) are immediately eradicated. Because damaging a guardian’s infinity organ enough can actually kill them and it’s the only part of their bodies that isn’t capable of regeneration.
