I’m writing a ua fic with an oc with memory manipulation and to show that, she pulls up an old babyhood memory of the kids sneaking out of their little cribs and playing in the morning before a nanny came to check on them and maybe it’s bc I just miss the kids at my daycare job but the image of little toddler umbrella academy playing together is making me weep

 "i’ve got one iced coffee for the pretty lady who works too hard!” with two drinks in hand, julian strut through the office until he reached verena’s impeccably clean workspace. he waited until he was just behind her to announce his arrival, and placed the drink just in front of her hand. “whatcha got going on?” making himself comfortable, julian jokingly took a seat on verena’s lap, the two of the barely fitting in the chair. he adjusted around a little, enough to stay within the limits of what vee would find funny before getting upset. the gag didn’t last long before he figured he was crushing the tiny girl, and swiftly got off with a chuckle. he pulled out someone else’s chair and brought it up next to hers, now sitting by her side.
