SOoOoo I often misremember Squisker as the McKraken relative who got sent to hell for some reason and not the backstabbed by McKraken politician relative, which I GUESS politics run in the family? I wonder if being power hungry runs in it too then?

Anyways this is more of a head cannon comic then anything, so yeah, my WaCkY head cannon?? Good ol' Go Fish lovin' Squisker got a one way ticket to hell cuz McSquids real petty

Last but certainly not least: Squisker!

This was probably the most complex designed Yo-kai out of the 3, and I don't think I need to point out why, just look at their design haha

If you're wondering what those things coming from their second mouth are, that's an attack it uses called Tentadrill! (screenshot from Japancomercials4U2)

As for the theme of them medal, you can tell that I tried to depict them as unhinged as possible. If you're wondering why, aside from the hypnotising-looking eyes, it's also due to a headcanon I have about Squisker. You see, unlike McKraken, we only ever see this form of Squisker, we never seen them in a "humanoid" form (if they even have one). My headcanon is, after being vanished to the Inferno thanks to their jackass relative, they probably went insane due to how hostile the environment is, and decided to keep their more monstrous form.

Something to back this up is Wobblewok. In a Puni event, Toadal Dude and Arachnus have another love quarrel argument and end up accidentally spreading Wobblewok's brew, which causes them to become "Infernal". Now, I won't go into whether this means that all Bosses from the Inferno have that colour palette because of Wobblewoke since it's kinda another can of worms by itself, but I think it's good evidence to at least why they all might behave in an aggressive way, or at least in Squisker's case.

But that's enough lore/theory yapping, I think the way I depicted them in the medal fits them personally, and to help with the theme I also added more swirls in the bg using colours from their eyes^^

Although these 3 medals were from a kinda failed collab, I'm still glad with how they turned out. And who knows, I might make more in the future :)

Never thought I'd draw these two again!

If you aren't aware I made art of what I feel Mckrakens parents might look like/be, since I'm starting to get back into yokai watch I thought I might as well redo these twos first picture! Since I honestly didn't like how they looked after these years >>;; Gonna just put their old info here sinc they haven't changed -->

Marina is Squisker's younger sister, the do similarities show. She has a relaxed and calm demeanor but will become passionate about something if she takes great interest in said thing/event. Marina was always with her older brother growing up, both acting similar to best friends in ways.

Octavious's name comes from his "oblivious" nature, when in reality he actually is very observant. He too is very calm and relaxed but will jump into action when needed. His side of the family have feline genes due to his great grandfather being a bakéneko, this also explains his and Mckrakens cat like actions (and his folded ears).

I also decided to go into more of their lives since I never did so back then. Octavious's family is actually a long line of farmers believe it or not! While Marinas upbringing was rather lavish, Octavious had more humble beginnings. Shown here is Octavious starting to show young Mckraken the ropes of farming and planting crops, as well as Marina teaching him how to use kitchen tools, these come into play as Mckraken gets older since he is very skilled with cooking and such :3

I’m finally out of that wretched Inferno! I thought I was never going to get out at this point!

But here I am! Finally out and getting to see the sun for the first time in years! I can’t even remember what year it was when I got thrown down there…

H-How did I get out?

…For legal reasons I’m not going to disclose that. All I’m saying is I’m sure as hell never going back there.

But anyways, I’ve probably got a lot of new things to learn about...how long has it even been?

...I should probably just focus on finding a place to stay in for now, I’ll get to learning more later.

And then I can find out where the hell McKraken is. I need to have an…

important conversation with him.

But I shouldn’t get too ahead of myself! It’s not the time to do that just yet, I need to get back to a (mostly) normal life for now.
