I tried making yo-kai watch 4 pixel sprites of my 3 favorite sillys (plus squisker because RECOLOR)

Theres 2 Grannys cuz I couldn't decide if wisp or wispless looked better so you get both :v

Anyways I TRIED I probably could have done evil granny and conspiracy theorist better but oh well.

These were a pain to do because I kept noticing new things I did wrong and having to edit them OVER AND OVER which tbf is entirely my fault but still, also yes I know there's suppose to be 2x2 smaller pixel highlighting or whatever its suppose to be and no I didn't do that because Im lazy okay???

Last but certainly not least: Squisker!

This was probably the most complex designed Yo-kai out of the 3, and I don't think I need to point out why, just look at their design haha

If you're wondering what those things coming from their second mouth are, that's an attack it uses called Tentadrill! (screenshot from Japancomercials4U2)

As for the theme of them medal, you can tell that I tried to depict them as unhinged as possible. If you're wondering why, aside from the hypnotising-looking eyes, it's also due to a headcanon I have about Squisker. You see, unlike McKraken, we only ever see this form of Squisker, we never seen them in a "humanoid" form (if they even have one). My headcanon is, after being vanished to the Inferno thanks to their jackass relative, they probably went insane due to how hostile the environment is, and decided to keep their more monstrous form.

Something to back this up is Wobblewok. In a Puni event, Toadal Dude and Arachnus have another love quarrel argument and end up accidentally spreading Wobblewok's brew, which causes them to become "Infernal". Now, I won't go into whether this means that all Bosses from the Inferno have that colour palette because of Wobblewoke since it's kinda another can of worms by itself, but I think it's good evidence to at least why they all might behave in an aggressive way, or at least in Squisker's case.

But that's enough lore/theory yapping, I think the way I depicted them in the medal fits them personally, and to help with the theme I also added more swirls in the bg using colours from their eyes^^

Although these 3 medals were from a kinda failed collab, I'm still glad with how they turned out. And who knows, I might make more in the future :)

Tried different coloring techniques and brushes

Practiced with my 3 fav sillies, tho I maaayyy have been "slightly" lazy with the linework but uhh shhh.. anyways did some mini ones too

I just found out McKrakens 2nd form was suppose to be in Yo-kai Watch 4 BUT HE WAS CUTTTTTT

At least I know now they were planning to add him.. Idk I just assumed they forgot about him somehow or like weren't planning to to all, still sad about it tho cuz he's one of my favs :(

HE HAS AN ARK!! THEY MADE HIM ONE BEFORE HE WAS CUT!!! LOOK HOW SILLY HE IS!! He looks so happy!! :D

Also it looks like he still has suckers in his 2nd form! They're not present in his model so its neat to know he does have them still anyways I found this out on The Cutting Room Floor in the Yo-kai Watch 4 page

I can't get over the fact the Ghoulies carry dynamite that just PERFECTLY counters them, like yes funny game mechanic but even when they throw it onto your board (which like takes forever btw) IT STILL EXPLODES HORIZONTALLY ..at least you can't just walk out of it ...unlike a CERTAIN soultimate *cough* *cough* Conspiracy Blast *cough*

anyways the attacks called "Dynamite Desire?" I don't know if the names just a copy paste of Mass Mutters dynamite attack, I couldn't be bothered to check tbh but it sounds like even THEY'RE surprised they get to use the dynamite....

SOoOoo I often misremember Squisker as the McKraken relative who got sent to hell for some reason and not the backstabbed by McKraken politician relative, which I GUESS politics run in the family? I wonder if being power hungry runs in it too then?

Anyways this is more of a head cannon comic then anything, so yeah, my WaCkY head cannon?? Good ol' Go Fish lovin' Squisker got a one way ticket to hell cuz McSquids real petty

Remember Kunitori Wars? That Yo-kai Sangokushi mobile game? well RIP to it. anyways I managed to get my hands on it before it sadly got shutdown and this was my team. I'm pretty sure I could only have 5 yo-kai in that spinoff, but well uh if it was 6 then I got jumped by Wazzat (and yes for some reason low ranked yo-kai split into 6 idk why but it was pretty funny)
