How many Devil Survivor fans played the series and then jumped into the Fire Emblem franchise to play more SRPGs?
And how many FE fans played the franchise and then jumped into the DeSu series to play more SRPGs?
And how many non-SRPG fans played these two to experience the genre?
You know, as much as I adore the Japanese cover art for Final Fantasy Tactics A2 (see top image), I’m also quite fond of this Nintendo DS game’s North American cover art (bottom image).
Granted, the background image chosen for the NA cover isn’t as engaging or intriguing as the one used on the JP cover, but it does make the logo pop.

On a related note, I’m now 18.5 hours into my very first playthrough of Final Fantasy Tactics A2. It’s not exactly what I expected--I thought it would be more story-focused--but it’s proving to be marvelously enjoyable anyway.
If you're born into a noble house, you're a noble. If your parents are slaves, you're a slave. Do you think a person's worth is decided at the moment of their birth? That's... I can't understand a country where that passes for normal, I just can't.
