I'm no longer tipsy/unfiltered enough to properly answer these questions, but:

How I feel about this character

Sanji is 10000% the way I was lured into One Piece, I can't believe this pathetic man's tragic backstory II: The Two Towers wasn't engineered specifically in a lab to get me. I cannot believe he chose the alias "Mr. Prince" in Alabasta. SANJI. Truly we love a man crying in the rain while he smokes and dissociates. Never looked better.

Also Taz Skylar can meet me in the fucking pit.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

I am a sucker for Zoro/Sanji — we love a bickering rivals ship — but I have an extremely soft spot for Zoro/Luffy/Sanji where Zoro and Luffy pin Sanji down (metaphorically or literally) and tell him nice things. We love a character with no self-esteem.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Sanji/his knives tbh, we love the relationship between a chef and his tools.

My unpopular opinion about this character

Powerscaling is silly. I only even tangentially know what that is. Make them kiss instead.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Sanji should wear glasses again. For me.

Summary:

As Jin Ling rushed past him in a flurry of heavy robes and half-tied hair, he stopped next to Sizhui and spun around to face him with a look of complete and utter determination.

“Lan Sizhui!” He pointed at Sizhui imperiously, but the effect was somewhat ruined by his rumpled clothes, the messy half-bun his hair was in, and the smear of vermillion across his forehead. “I, Jin Rulan of the Lanling Jin sect, am going to court you! Properly! You’ll see!”

And before a stunned Sizhui could reply, Jin Ling was rushing off and out of sight, dragging the wide-eyed Jin sect junior along with him.

i do not mind! i took a break from revising a novel i wrote early last year to write something that was SUPPOSED to be like a lighthearted fluffy 5k coda to htmt b/c i was ‘inspired’ (addicted to the validation) by everyone’s reaction to the end but has turned into a novella, so. BUSINESS AS USUAL OVER HERE.
