So I know this is a BuckyNat blog but I wanted to spread the word in case there were any Sailor Moon fans here, too:
Inspired by what the Marvel fandom does so well, over at @ssrevminibang there’s a Reverse Mini Bang currently going.
If anyone’s interested, sign ups are open until Monday 1 May 2017.
Art must feature at least one Inner Senshi and at least one Shitennou (either romantically, platonically or even antagonistally linked somehow) and that’s about the only limitation there is.

Sailor Moon Senshi and Shitennou Reverse Mini Bang
Ok, this blog is totally an Akatsuki no Yona thing, but I wanted to spread the word, in case there were any Sailor Moon fans here too:
Over at @ssrevminibang we’re running a Reverse Mini Bang - which is where artists create a piece of fanart featuring at least one of the Inner Senshi and one of the Shitennou (no need to be romantically paired). Authors then write a fic based on the art they’ve been assigned. Cool right?!

Rules and Parameters for Authors
When can I start writing?
From the second you get the email from us with the Artwork enclosed (around Thursday 1 June) up until you post it on Ao3 during the Posting Period (31 July - 4 August).
Is there a minimum word limit?
3,500 words.
Is there a maximum word limit?
Nope. Feel free to finish up the Fic at 3,500 words, or blow it out of the water with a multi-chaptered epic to rival the length of War and Peace... you know, if you can do that sort of thing within our timescale of 8 weeks...
What if I want to publish multiple chapters?
Sure, go for it! But be aware, the Fic in its entirety will need to be posted up on the official Posting Date (which will be during the Posting Period).
That means you’ll have to have the last (not the first) chapter of your fic posted onto Ao3 by your Posting Date.
I don’t have an Ao3 account.

Do I need a Beta?
Yes, we highly recommend that you obtain the services of one. If you’re struggling to find someone, then let us know and we’ll see what we can do to help! Either email us: ssrevmb at gmail dot com or send us an Ask.
I’m stuck / I’m in a rut / I don’t understand the Artwork I’ve been given.
That’s what your Artist is for! Talk to them, ask them questions about the work and what inspired them, hopefully they’ll end up inspiring you!
(And if you’re both really, really stuck, come talk to us).
The Artist has very specific ideas about their Artwork, and I’m not sure I can deliver what they’re asking for.
Don’t worry, no one is asking you to go beyond your limits, nor do we want you to push yourself to the point where this event no longer enjoyable.
The Artwork is supposed to inspire you, and the details your Artist provides about the Artwork is to help give you context. While we’d like you to try and get as close as you can to what the Artist had in mind, we all understand just how fickle muses can be. If you’re having trouble, talk to your Artist and let them know where you’re struggling. Do the best that you can, but also don’t forget that this is your Fic!
Are there any requirements by the Artist that I absolutely must adhere to?
Yes - two things: the Highest Fic Rating and the Squicks / Triggers / No-go areas.
This shouldn’t be too much of a worry (as long as we’ve done our jobs right as Mods!!) since these were some of the factors considered when assigning you and your Artist.
Can I share my work with others before the Posting Date?
We know it can be tempting to share your work before it’s completed with others, especially if you’re excited and proud of what you’re writing, but we’d rather you keep the actual content under wraps - at least until the Posting Period.
We’d also rather you avoid sharing too much detail with the other Authors in the event - but the last thing we want is for you to feel isolated, so if it’s for the purposes of sound-boarding and beta-ing, then feel free to talk to them - although we would prefer it if you went to your Artist and Beta first.
If you’re really lacking motivation, however, and are desperate to post just a little something, we’re ok with you posting up a maximum three-hundred word preview of your Fic.
When exactly is my Post Date and how to do I post my work up?
You’ll get a separate email further down the line (close to the Check Up) which will give you detailed instructions on how Posting will work.
Don’t worry about it now, except to let us know if you don’t have an Ao3 account so we can help you set one up ASAP.
