Robert: I'd say a dog. Most likely from a rehoming shelter because those dogs need some love as well but unfortunately I wouldn't be able to care for it...
Nick: Good choice! I'd choose a cat. Sure they're jerks but less effort to care for.

Jeff: *half awake* I'd have a snake. A tiny little one that I would keep in my hood or around my body so that at random moments when I'm talking to someone they'll see a tiny little head of an adorable snake pop up and stick it's little tounge out at them. I'd also like the constant company so that I'd never feel alone with the small black oval eyes of the snake that I would look into and see the endless vortex of black and nothingness.
