Is this a fanfiction event only?

Nope. Any kind of fanworks will be greatly appreciated.

Do I need to share something every day?

Also no. It’s whatever grabs your fancy.

Do I need to include every prompt from a day?

You can use as little or as many of them as you’d like! My only request is to not put prompts from different days into the one work.

What about NSFW?

Any kind or genre of work is welcome as long as it's appropriately tagged.

Since Severance is so contained, I’ve gone with two options that can be interpreted in many ways and then one that is a bit more specific.

My goal when making the list was to choose one prompt per day but if inspiration strikes who am I to stop you? But please try to avoid (purposely) using prompts from different days in the same work.

Signed and Sealed With a Kiss Release Date + Contest!

We’re proud to announce that Signed and Sealed With a Kiss will release on April 30, 2019 on itch.io and Steam! We’re also in the process of getting the game on other web platforms as well.

If you haven’t heard about the game yet, you can check it out here!

Pricing info:

Until April 29, you can pre-order the game on itch.io for $5, after which the price will rise to $8. For the first release week, the game will be on sale for $5 on Steam.

Pre-release contest:

A long, long while ago, we held a contest for a fan to come up with a concept for a random event to be added into the game. However, they unfortunately never submitted an answer.  With the base game's release coming April 30th*, this also happens to be a great time to hold another contest.

So, we've decided to create a new contest (with fixed answers) to not only add an additional random event into the game post-release but also give away a free Boyfriend charm to one (or two, if we get at least 300 survey replies--and we’re presently sitting at just under 200) lucky winner. The deadline to submit your survey is April 30th, of course.

Hi! I was wondering if there will be the option to switch between the new and old sprites for Beta Boyfriend in SSWK?

Yes, we plan on adding that. We haven’t forgotten about them. We’ve just had more support requests/questions/etc. than expected since the game’s launch, so we haven’t had enough time to finish them. They’ll definitely be ready within the week, however.

We have written a detailed breakdown of what to expect post-release on our Itch dev blog “Release Details”.

I don't know how many of these types of messages you get but I wanted to say I really love your game! Your game just sort of floated across my dash and I was excited to play but just like....wow! The level of skill and talent in the writing and art???? It really knocked my socks off! The routes are all so different and interesting! Though I think I like the 'Bad Boy' one best! It really was my perfect boyfriend!

SSWK Update #13

Flirt & Prince's routes are now completely finished! Props to Wes & Ren for tackling them. Bad Boy & Base BF's routes are still being worked on, but you can always check out their progress on the tracker.

Speaking of which--we're basically now at the 200,000 word mark for the game's script. So, if you've been wondering why it's taking so long... it's just incredibly long and detailed. The final count, including the expansion routes, will probably be between 280,000 and 350,000 words, which amounts to 20-35 hours of reading depending on your own speed. This doesn't even take into account the gameplay sections of SSWK, by the way.

As for CGs: we're presently trucking along through the sexy/R17 ones. Each has a number of variations, so they take a bit longer to finish than the regular CGs.

On that note, the majority of you told us you'd rather wait to have the regular CG artist draw for Base BF's route. So, we'll be holding off on the game's release until those are done. Once there are 2 CGs left, we'll come back with a proper release date. For now, we'll just say the game will come out sometime in Q1 2019.
