Henry VIII had its last performance... It was a great time working on it. From the planning, research and study together with Monica Caturegli, the intense collaboration on the music with composer Mark Polscher, creating the stage with Mathias Fischer-Dieskau, to the costume designs of Alexandra Pitz, the great advice and input from my dramaturg Brigitte Knöss, to the work with the dancers creating their roles together with me with all their passion and skill under the constant attention of Monica Caturegli and Mathias Brühlmann,to both casts working permanently to make every performance special, Steven Markusfeld taking the daily load off me, Sascha Zauner working on the lights, Anastasiya Bobrykova having the stage under control, the work with our orchestra with Andrea Sanguineti and Cameron Burns, to the technicians building and operating the stage every performance.... the public reacting so marvelously... I cannot possibly put all the nice moments and situations, the solutions found all here...
