"Stab My Back" — The All-American Rejects
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Chapter two of Stab My Back is now posted! AKA The Fic That Attempts to Reform A Seventeen-Year-Old Dabi. Chapter Summary: Dabi's admission to UA comes down to a vote, and all of the teachers weigh in.
Shadows of the past creep in when finally you are happy.
She cries how much she still loves you,
As if that would change something.
For she who pushed the dagger, ever farther into your back,
How is it she now begs to take all of it back?
The blood of your pain still stains her porcelain skin,
And yet she wonders why you dare not let her in.
The first chapter of Stab My Back, the sequel to The Second Stain, has been posted!
Fic Summary: After trying and failing to get revenge on his father, Dabi now finds himself at the mercy of the justice system. For every ally, (including Principal Nezu, who has strangely recommended him for the UA hero course), there are enemies who seek to punish him for tarnishing his father’s name and his own villainy. With all that going on, it seems impossible that Dabi might be able to repair his relationship with his brother, and try to figure out the bond that he and Kaminari forged following Denki’s kidnapping at the hands of the League of Villains. Prepare yourselves for a twenty-four chapter roller coaster of emotions with hurting, healing, and the occasional Erasermight.

Chapter ten of Stab My Back will be posted later than usual today, after I get home from work! I got an acceptance call from one of the grad schools I applied to yesterday, so I spent most of the evening letting family and friends know. It’s put me a bit behind, whoops!
I'm blasted out of my face, but I'm not blasted enough to be out of my skull. Let us get there, yes? ⚡️
"I hope that love he gave you, Was just enough to save you. You nearly broke my heart, Just look at what you’re tearing apart!"
