i made this solely based on something i saw on @hsauwhere . only after finishing this i found out about the stabdads au 💀 so this counts technically i guess

So, in your Stabdads au, how well does Snowman take care of Vriska?

comparatively speaking, Snowman does a far better job of taking care of Vriska than Vriska’s lusus did. Vriska’s characterization is a little different in my stabdads au because she hasn’t been thoroughly traumatized by having to feed other trolls to her lusus throughout her life, not to mention that Ms. Paint and Snowman are a couple, so she acts as a second mother to her.  Snowman can be a little negligent in terms of emotional connection and physical affection, but Ms. Paint contributes to these factors and Vriska is better off for her parenting because of it.

the essentially communal housing of the Manor also contributes and the other felt have occasionally helped take care of her, and she’s most fond of Quarters (considering he’s Terezi’s lusus and she and Terezi are close)

What do you think of the "stabdads" au? That one with the midnight crews being parental figures to the the trolls they interacted with. (Slick=Karkat, Droog=Aradia, Boxcart=Tavros and Deuce=Sollux. Optionally Snowman=Vriska and Terezi)

I am a sucker for that AU, okay. Nothing is better to me than dangerous individuals who are also loving parents. (Slick shows his love in a weird way, though.) Specifically I’m weak for Aradia and Droog for some reason. It’s just the idea of someone who is very much regarded as a dangerous sociopathic person who regards caring for people as weakness finding himself caring for a little creature that depends on him. Bonus if Damara is also involved. Two Gee Droog how come you get two dead daughters?

FUN FACT. In the early eeeeeeeeh I’ll say 2014-2016ish era, I ran a askblog for The Young Handmaiden that I ended up abandoning because collage just kinda wrecked my life. And it basically devolved into Stabdads, except a family can be 14 incompetent gay men, 1 really fancy dangerous lady and a their small house keeper they care immensely and dearly for. I still stand by it strongly and nobody can take that from me.
