Inconvenient, really, horribly inconvenient. Frankly, you blame the use of knives- you only started practicing with them in combat in a trade with your Spades that he’d take up training his aim a little better in return. Man should know how useful ranged is by now, but you’ve gotta coddle him into it. This, you decide, is a perfectly valid reason to avoid melee with any weapon shorter than three feet minimum.
‘This’ being the fact that, when you went to properly slice up the emaciated frame of lanky, neon green waste that calls itself Six, he happened to pull something just as your claws skimmed his coat, and you found yourself somewhere else. He wails in pain as your knife makes its mark, but you’re distracted momentarily by the townsfolk and tables suddenly surrounding you. He scrambles away, clutching that stupid doll of his, and you snarl, almost instantly back on the offensive as you pursue. He’ll pay, you’ll make sure of that.
