It's moments like these that you realise how well Vought's propaganda efforts to mask their past/true purpose worked because they're really convinced waking up the nazi doctor who dedicated his life to creating The Übermensch is the actual solution to their problems. And Cipher's plan to "cull the herd" doesn't at all sound like the nazi doctor's plan to them. Like even Polarity, for all his marketing saviness, doesn't actually understand much about the politics behind Vought's creation. "Cipher's gone crazy and wants to cull the herd" no babe he hasn't gone crazy he's just returning to Vought's roots and saying the quiet part out loud. Vought the Company is here to make money but Vought the Ideology is to cull the herd and yall just woke up the blueprint.

I don't however believe for a second that Stan Edgar is that naive. And I can't wait to see how his plans and Sage's plans fit into all of this.
