Stancest ‘18 at Port Noblessner, Tallinn, Estonia.
We managed to visit “STANCEST” stance event held in Tallinn, Estonia at Noblessner Port - Shipyard. This year we went only as a media team and tried to capture everything that seemed cool or inspirational to us. P.S. Don’t forget to check the video that’s in the end of the post!
The road from Riga to Tallinn was not what You call just another sunny summer trip, because it had a few surprises ready for us. In a good way, though. We got to see some of the competitors making their way to the event from Latvia too, which made it more exciting, and the difference between roads in two countries was insane. We enjoyed the smooth estonian roads so much, that we decided to take a loop on our way back, and we didn’t regret it at all.
Once we made it to the event and saw all the cars, we couldn’t just stand around, so we started to capture everything we could. The atmosphere was really nice - taking pictures and filming amazing cars at shipyard, next to the water in a hot summer day, with some wind blowing to cool You off. We were really happy that we got there.
Even more cars were hiding inside of this old ship-making building, where You could not only see some really cool projects and get inspired, but also see DJ doing his thing live and play some simulator driving/racing games. The old building gave this whole event more of a museum feeling, which made everyone to appreciate cars even more.
We also saw someone we just recently met at 200sx.lv springfest and that put a big smile on our face.
The zone that was meant for competitors was amazing, but the parking lot for spectators wasn’t half bad either. Seeing what people drove to the event with and that they possibly drive on daily basis, was quite fun and interesting.
To sum it all up, it was a really really cool and inspirational event. Hopefully, next year we will have something to bring with us too. Like and share if You think what we’re doing is worth it!
