A little bit of history. ✂️🧵🪡👙 In 1970 women sizes ranged from eight to fourty-two. A woman size eight had a bust measurement of 31 and a 23.5 waist inches. A little over 10 years later the Commerce Department revisited the standard women charts, and increased the size eight to a 32.5 bust and 34.5 hips, inches. Remaining the same waist measurement at 23.5 inches.
