julienrbaker: One decade ago today was the first show I played with Alex Creech and Matthew Gilliam as The Star Killers. The first photo was taken by @samleathers at the release show for our first and only LP. The second picture was taken by Jake Horne (@letter.snake.jake) at the OG 7 house. The third and fourth photos were both taken by Brian Vernon (@smith7records), when John Prescott who played guitar in TSK for a long time sat in with us again to perform an old song after Berlin Howell had joined the band and created the lineup that would eventually become Forrister. It was not always easy, but nothing worth doing is. I considered this musical community to be my family— I still do— and playing / releasing music with them will always be one of the greatest achievements and honors of my lifetime. Thanks boys.
