It's very interesting to me how the elements from the primal sources are connected.

They can be paired

Earth+Sun

Ocean+Moon

Sky+Stars

They can be countered

Sun vs. Moon

Earth vs. Sky

And by default, Ocean vs. Stars

It's even more interesting with their powers.

Earth would be growing, the Sun empowers it, but so would the Ocean, water nourishes.

The moon is illusion, does that mean that the Ocean (which is filled with mystery) has something to do with mystery on top of water? Do they strengthen each other as well?

And the sky is free, if the theory about stars being knowledge is correct then the sky being free can also gather knowledge from everywhere, supporting the instinctive knowledge of the stars.

The opposite would be true as well.

The sun would shatter any illusions of the moon, the earth would ground the sky? Or would the sky be untouchable to the earth? The ocean is ancient and impossible to reach the depths of, no knowledge of the stars could hold it, and the stars are unreachable, so far beyond us they could never be grasped.

The elements are super cool like that I guess.

In Starlight

The mirror that Viren and Aaravos use to communicate seems to be powered by Star magic. It only works in the dark. And when do you see the stars? When every other light has gone out.

Viren puts out the fire he caused, and only then does he see the glow of the mirror’s far side.

His discovery is accidental.

But Aaravos knows how the mirror’s magic operates. Perhaps he even built it, long ago. The moment he suspects someone is on the other side of his mirror...

He kills the lights without even looking. (so hot btw)

And then he can see through to the other side, too.

Viren has no idea who he’s getting into trouble with, and I am here for it.
