I want to just start writing my fic. But there is so much I feel like I need to know before I start. How does one start understanding 40+ years of lore?? I feel like I have learned so much already from just how much fanfiction I have read. But... there is just an impossible amount more that I need to go over. And its just so intimidating wanting to create something but knowing it has the potential of being seen by some very hard-core, critical fans. Its a vulnerable place to be in.
i hate when anakin’s dark deeds gets randomly stuck in my head. what the fuck did i do to deserve this
Um, I am a POC. I'm black. But anyway. Did you actually see the whole Celebration interview. If you call that fine health for Billy D Williams, I hate to see what you call bad health. Having more people for representation is fine, but having someone who hasn't acted in years, not in good health, and bringing them in just for a blantant cameo is terrible, both storytelling wise and realistically wise. And I'd say the same for the newer James Bond films trying to get Sean Connery for a cameo.
i never questioned whether you were white or not, that’s not the point, and it wasn’t me who said that billy d williams was in good health.
Following up with the 79-year-old former Colt 45 spokesman, THR interviewed Williams after his meeting with Glover and asked if he was interested in returning to a galaxy far, far away:
I don’t know. It depends if they ask me to. I wouldn’t mind doing it. … If they asked me, I wouldn’t say no.
^That’s what he said in 2017. He’s open to going back to Star Wars, whether he’s healthy in your opinion or not. It’s not on you to decide who’s well enough to work and who isn’t, you’re not their doctor.
And saying that Kylo is like the other half of the new trilogy or whatever bs rian johnson is saying lately is terrible, both storytelling wise and realistically wise, and yet. It’s happening. Lando Calrissian having an appearence - whether as a cameo or on a larger role - would certainly not ruin the movie. The woobification of the villain in a saga that’s always had black-and-white protagonists (or at the very least, made clear who’s the good guy and who’s the bad guy) is what’s potentially ruining the movie.
Mod A.
Autocorrect please stop turning mando'a into Nando's
Please. I need you autocorrect, but not like this. Not like this.
I don't even live anywhere with a Nando's anymore...
A Star Wars Adam's Apple????
Help! Leia is attracted to Han's Adam's Apple, but that is a very earthly word that I can't use. What do y'all call it for the GFFA?
I swear to god, if my autocorrect makes me write about Kyle Ten and a Rookie one more time, I’m going to murder someone.
Socially distant murder.
Constantly plagued with indecision as to whether I’d have a green lightsaber or a yellow lightsaber 😬
Green is the Jedi councilor color for those strong with the force and yellow belongs to the sentinels who were an equal balance between Jedi councilors and Jedi guardians.
But honestly if I was in a Star Wars movie/show I’d be that character who people are like “is she even a Jedi? I’ve never seen her with a lightsaber???” And then in some random cornered situation ignite it and it’d be like “OOOOOO!!!!”
