Missions like these very much weren't fun. Not only was it late evening or perhaps already night - a time of the day Starfire very much didn't like - but also had the alarm that reached the Titans been very vague and only giving a rough location. So here Starfire was, walking around the place and searching. For what exactly she searched she didn't know, but usually the trouble was easy to spot once coming across it.
"Oh!" Instead of coming across trouble, though, she came across another person, and quickly offered a smile to his question.
"Yes, I am looking for some thing indeed! We have been alerted of happenings around this area, and I am now here to find what we shall look for." And well, since he was around here too, she might as well ask, right? "Perhaps you have seen some thing that could be the trouble that I have come here for?"
“No,” he replied rather bluntly. “Now shoo.”
Was this reality? He’d come here trying to get away from the Earth brats. Coming to Earth to get away from Earth brats, what an absolutely moronic idea. And worse yet, it looked like this one could fly. But that was just his typical luck.
He glanced up at the moon, full in shape and nearing its height. Just twenty more minutes before his plan would at last come to fruition. Oh, how long it had taken to retrieve Gigabyte’s body from the poison ivy and snake invested jungles of Jimaya, and bring him to Earth, the hope being that without the watchful eye of Motherboard, Hacker would at last be able to finish his experiment, uninterrupted.
“Actually, now that I think about it. I did spot an unscrupulous suspect passing through here mere moments ago,” he cried dramatically, pointing in the direction opposite to where his henchmen where. “He was wearing a dark mask. If you hurry, you might catch him. Not too fast though,” he added with a genial smile. “Wouldn’t want you getting yourself into a pickle.”
