Lysa/Petyr, #47!
“I’ve been in love with you for years.”
The words slid off his tongue without a thought behind them. He had practiced them often enough before this, just as he had made every act of his a play, so that he did not need to submit himself to drink in order to say them without a stutter. He preferred his mind to be sharp and his actions precise, especially with her, though he told himself that it was just sound advice and nothing more.
Lysa stared up at him with wide and foolish eyes. She herself was dulled by wine and giddy, her cheeks red. In these moments it was impossible to see her as the adult she was, everything in her demeanor marking her as the girl of Riverrun. The contrast between that and the way age had settled on her turned his stomach but he did not let it show. He had always been good at that.
“I knew,” she giggled, burying her head against his lap. She had thrown herself at his feet when they entered his rooms, laughing and loudly whispering that they must be quiet. Petyr had braced himself against his chair and allowed his hand to wind through her hair, focus on those threads of auburn rather than anything else.
His mouth was dry. He wished he had something to drink but forced himself to stay put, to keep her at his feet, under his hand. This was important, this was all part of the plan, part of the snare.
He felt her kiss his thigh through his stockings and focused his eyes on the rich fabrics that lined his bed.
rules: four movies you’re pretty sure you like more than anyone else
Tagged by @starkfish - thank you!!!
A lot of my favorite movies are loved by many, so this was hard... but I feel these are good choices!!! Cinderella II was my favorite movie growing up, and House of Mouse was up there too!!!! And I don’t see people talking about them often... Same with No Reservations, that I’ve loved since I first watched it as a kid!!!
And while Indiana Jones is quite popular, I think Temple of Doom is not the most popular and it is my favorite, so I think it fit this question thing

'TIs not the pairing you requested, but should the mood strike you, I would love some Petyr/Lysa, #10!
“You swore you’d never lie to me.”
The words were choked in her throat and even as she said them she knew what his answer would be, knew that he has never promised such a thing in words. It had been what she had always wanted and perhaps that had been enough.
But now? She had spoken of her love as she pressed against him, not at all an uncommon occurrence, and she thought she had heard his agreement, muttered against her skin as he came, as the walls of control had been broken down.
Lysa swore she heard it and had held it close to her heart as she panted against him, coming back to reality, coming back into the world as it was. Then the words fell back into her mind and she knew she had to say something, knew that she could not allow this to go on anymore.
“What?” Petyr asked; he had already raised himself from the bed and was placing on his trousers -- he never, not once, had taken his shirt off in her presence. He was not looking at her as he strode across the room to the mirror to check his appearance.
She pulled the furs up around her, a protective gesture, as she stared at his back. She wanted to continue, tried to find the words needed, but she was frozen by the sight of him cooly correcting himself.
Of course he hadn’t meant anything he said. Perhaps he didn’t even remember it. At any case, she knew she would never get the truth from him.
And if she pressed, and pressed...maybe she would lose this forever, never again have that felting moment of pleasure that he brought into her life. She would be stuck where she was without any reprise, anything to look forward to.
“Nothing,” she said, turning her gaze to the side.
8, 9, 10, ASOIAF!
8. Have you received anon hate? What about?*
OH yes. I’ve been told that I’m a horrible person for complaining on my own blog about ships that I don’t like...I’ve been told that I’m a horrible person for shipping an adult character with a teenage character...I’ve been told that I’m a horrible person for shipping incest...the list goes on and on. :P
9. Most disliked character(s)? Why?
I’m with apprenticemockingbird on the Jon Snow Sucks train. Don’t care about his storyline, don’t care about any ships involving him, don’t care about Kit Harington’s pouty face. Just do not care. I also hate Sandor Clegane, because I think he’s an asshole. He’s not an INTERESTING asshole...he’s just a standard-issue, generic-brand asshole. No thanks.
10. Most disliked arc? Why?
I’m not the biggest fan of Dany’s book arc, TBH (her show arc isn’t even worth discussing). The Meerenese knot stuff is dull AF, and the pace of her storyline in the last couple of books slows down to such an excruciating point that I found myself doing really surface-level skims of those chapters.
ASOIAF, 5, 6, 22!
5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?*
Not really, tbh. All the ships I like aren’t really popular so they didn’t get destroyed, and the ships I hated already were only made worse by fandom (coughcoughj*nsa).
6. Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?*
I kinda went from hating Sansan to tolerating/understanding it more, because of all the shitty Sansa pairings the show invented.
22. Popular character you hate?
Jon Snow. I liked him better in the books, but he’s still boring as shit to me.
