You said in the past you are open to confessions about stuff related to smosh people like starkid or damien's voice acting and stuff i think, so i have a confession. I wanna write an I Spit On Your Grave scenario for NPMD but a lot of the people in the smosh (and possibly starkid) fandom would be really mad i feel just because angela is who portrays grace, even though it's about a fictional character and not angela. i'm afraid i'll be harassed for it, esp after the smostwt stuff.
If you wanted to post it there is the anonymous option on AO3. I'm sorry that the current state of things has you so afraid that you'll be harassed.
I know it's so much easier said than done, but you can't let assholes like that dictate what you do. This is exactly what they want, and they have no right to make you feel that way.
It doesn't really matter who is depicting a character, because it's a character. So many people have a ridiculously hard time separating an actor from their character. They are actors. Angela is not Grace Chasity.
Go for it. Writing something like that can be cathartic as hell, too. I believe in you, anon. Don't let bullies get you down, okay? Write to your heart's content and fuck everyone else.
