I know it's confusing but I need to change a lot, sorry
Hiiii luv did we talk about the Wakanda Forever soundtrack? I learned that the same dude is doing the Oppenheimer soundtrack and I am so excited omg I live it so muchhhhh I cried during the wf music documentary 😭💖
Hi honey bee! So firstly -- I am SO sorry it has taken me this long to answer this.
I have this weird thing where if I can't devote all of my attention to it, I ignore it until I can. I have been thinking about this ask on and off ever since you sent it.
Especially because I listen to tracks from that soundtrack almost every day.
The man in question is Ludwig Göransson. He is Ryan Coogler's college buddy and they have worked together on I want to say every film the director has ever done. I actually didn't know he was doing Oppenheimer, but it tracks, because he also did Tenet and it looks like filmmakers who work with him want to work with him again because he is just THAT good.
The documentary series, Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever is one of my favorite BTS projects because it breaks down the creative process behind two things I love: music and filmmaking. I love talent, and getting a look into Göransson's process and seeing the artists he brought together create in reall time was just ... god I LOVED it.
Adore the commentary provided by Letitia and Tenoch and Ryan and listening to the artists themselves talk about working on the project. It's everything to me.
I actually have on my vision board that I want Ludwig Göransson to be the music supervisor and composer of the score and soundtrack for my film when I achieve the goal of getting it made.
And here are my favorite tracks from the album:
I mean, I love the whole thing, but these are the tracks I listen to the most.
Again, apologies for leaving you hanging like this!
Hiii oh I saw your tags about Heart of Darkness ohhh yes that's how I feel about it too, great observations. With all problems said, it really marked me when I read it, amazing prose
Hi back lovely,
I'm so glad you're visiting me for a little book talk. :)So happy too that you share the same conflicting feelings about this book. It's sometimes a burden to like certain books when you don't know what to think about their bad sides, and it helps a lot when a book friend says, "me too."
It is a testament to the strength of my feelings for this book that I managed to write these tags in my current state of apathy.
My memory is poor and I tend to easily forget the books I read if I don't keep track of them, but this one haunts me. It's like a symphony with its narrative centered on the darkness of the human soul and the descent into the abyss of these characters driven mad with despair by their greed and quest for gain, which keeps repeating like a pattern in my head.
It's a strong experience that's not for everyone but I would still recommend it to everyone, because it's a test of maturity to be able to appreciate a book like this, which can be a threshold in your reading life, depending on how and when it hits you.
I really want to read more of Conrad's books. Do have you a recommendation for his work? Or any recommendation at all: something you read recently, loved and want to share and support?

Happy new year sugar!!
Hey!!! Happy New Year, my dear!!!
Have some hotcuteness for a start ♥
Hello my sister in Ulmo, how many hours a day do you spend thinking about Anárion in s2? Any blind headcanons/guesses?
I'm lowkey losing it
Ahahaha I am also lowkey losing it over Anárion and in general…I've been waking up at 4am to re-read The Mariner's Wife, I cried over the Oath of Elendil yesterday not once but twice, I have lost all the chill I once possessed.
Putting this reply under a cut bc it got long, oops.
Hiiii do you like truffles? 🤔
Hi dear! I LOVE truffles, even though they are pretty expensive here in Italy; I especially like them on pasta and pizza, even though we also use it on pecorino cheese.
(This can cost up to 80 euro FYI!)
Thanks for asking, hope you are having a splendid day!!
