Why do you guys keep focusing on argentina and its racism, like yes we know our country has and has had a culture and history of a lot of racism, specially with the current political climate and it fucking sucks, i live that day to day and it sucks, but you keep talking as if your government hasnt done things in larger scale, and isnt doing genocides and cultural erasure all over the world, i just really dont get the focus on just argentina the past month like there is so many other countries that also do and did that
I think what makes these statements so wild is again, it's implying that I DON'T talk about other countries acts of antiblackness and white supremacy.
Y'all are arguing with a person that does this... Every day. I have been running a book club for the past half year discussing white supremacy, antiblackness, and violence and genocide in America (and for a time there, globally)... Every day.
I have fought with people on here and their antiblackness from around the world, white and nonwhite. I know plenty of Black people who have had to do this. Of nonblack allies who have joined us in this fight. Who discuss these things... Every day. We talk about the antiblackness of the Dominican Republic about Haiti, we talk about Cuba, we talk about so many things within my community that may or may not be about Latin America, y'all just don't see it because you aren't around us... Almost Every day.
The only reason we've been so focused on Argentina this week has been because the response to being told "wow we saw your fans call a Black American a nigger and a monkey on live TV during a WORLD VIEWED event, I wonder what sort of culture leads to that being such a comfortable act" has been the world's largest tantrum.
Because the idea that the person they were responding to might actually DISCUSS this, has BEEN discussing this for quite some time and therefore may have intentions that were not "singling out Argentina", just... Wasn't there? The idea that this Gringa Negra just... Didn't know shit about anything and therefore MUST be an ignorant threat that is UNFAIRLY attacking JUST ARGENTINA! Like really, this woulda blew over by now otherwise. But y'all keep acting like I specifically put belt to ass for y'all, like I don't put belt to ass for anybody antiblack. So now we're gonna do some more reading about it.
Argentina, you're not special. Just the bigots of the week (the MONTH if y'all keep this shit up).
As much as I enjoy Zendaya, and Law by association (design), I will say the faux pas with the pilfered Iranian earring-artifacts and the private jet for fashion is quite deserving of the scrutinous social side-eye/public scolding they are apparently the targets of atm.
many women are excited to get old and weird, but i have great news that it's fully possible to become weird now, before you get old. just imagine the heights of weirdness you will be able to reach in fifty years if you get started now. that's what I think
I know exactly who needs to hear this but you need to talk to black people offline. You need to talk to black people who are nothing like you AND! You need to purposefully expose yourself to minorities you disagree with, not as the best of friends but so you can handle the fact that they exist and that its still not your fucking right to try to control them.
This blog is a safe space for black women 🤎

Abolish ICE yesterday….Abolish ICE forever…and get ICE the hell out of our city and every city. I live in Houston, and the rage and grief is only bringing our community together.
