Starving, he's starving after crawling through the bizzarro city the signs and people keep calling "Spirale", not trusting a dang thing in sight!

And now... he's come face to face with this creature! Garet staggers upright and extends his hand with a grumble. "Ugh, they've got monsters here, too! I'll show 'em... Fireball!"

... Nothing happens. Garet looks from his hand to the duck(?) and shakes his wrist. "Fireball! Fireball? FIREBALL."

All forms of snapping, twisting, and growling do not seem to be working.

“i knew you or eggman would show your faces sooner or later!”

silver sneers, his positive demeanor slipping the most it has since he’d arrived in spirale. there’s a sharp stone in his telekinetic grasp -- not as threatening as a car, but with enough force it’ll do in a pinch.

he may be jumping into things, but in the few times he’d directly interacted with starline, he almost blew him up. that’s enough of a bone to pick, he thinks. more important than vengeance, though (and knowing the platypus’ track record), if he isn’t already involved with spirale’s leaders, he’ll find a way to take advantage eventually. not on silver’s watch.

“don’t take another step, starline,” his hand’s glow brightens, eyes narrowed, “if you think i’m going to just let you attempt to doom another world, you’ve got another thing coming!”

One hand snags the back of the scientist's clothing, pulling him out of danger, and the other—

—reaches out and applies a well-timed issue of super-strength, causing some damage to the speeding car that had nearly barreled into Dr. Starline ( @starlitvisionary ). Although the deflection causes largely cosmetic change, the sound of it is loud, a localized thunderclap of metal against Lost Technology.

Well, if the driver minded a fresh new blemish against the side of their passenger door, they're certainly not stopping to yell about it to Vash. From its engine's largely uninterrupted roarrr of speed down the street, they had places to be.

"That was close!," he says with an exaggerated sigh of relief, trying to be casually grounded about the near-death experience of the other, "Wasn't your fault, that was reckless of 'em. You're okay, right?"

"Actually I am a model at an agency." She says proudly with the biggest grin on her face. The fact someone recognises her fashion says it all. She's always been confident in whatever she wore, but it always felt good when someone took notice to that.

"It's called Spirale Vision. Have y'heard of it?"

What’s the best thing about the show/series/books/comics/etc.?

trigun stampede's got a big emphasis on its characters, in having a character-driven plot; it's been interesting to me to watch things unfold so far, alongside getting to see how they've been "remixed" from their trigun maximum counterparts.

right off the bat (when characters are introduced, i mean), the show gives you a good sense of where these characters have strengths and flaws (& whether they're good at hiding it, or even desire to hide it and why), how their principles and goals synergize and clash with one another, and hints at where their character development could head, depending on the relationship being focused on on-screen.

regardless if the viewer is familiar with previous installments of trigun, i think anyone could pick up on how these characters speak/act/move(/even how they're designed), to form a good picture as to why they end up doing what they do. ..... 💀 that's sort of vague and basic for me to say as a blanket statement but lol. i get the impression the team was not being dishonest in saying they paid careful attention into previous iterations of these characters in creating them (& the worlds they resided in), because the love shows clear to me so far.

^there's certain characters that may disappoint me or not fit the bill in saying that, and it's totally plausible that orange could completely fumble this in the end, but we're still in single-digit episode count at the time of posting this, and i've been trying to keep patient
