It looks like virtually nobody on here has talked about the Japan exclusive Fender Starmaster that came out last year (2025), and that makes me sad.

This is Tumblr. I once saw someone back in like 2013 get mad about how much people talked about Jazzmasters on here.

Anyway yeah. This guitar is a combo of a Jazzmaster and a Starcaster. I love it and it unfortunately costs like $2k if you want one here in the u.s.

Proxima Becoming Starmistress Imagine

Proxima went to the Star Chamber, where Nova Terron was waiting for her. She was worried about what the Starmaster would say. After all, while Nova Terron did seem to forgive her, she did turn the Astromancers into undead spectromancers and became a major threat to the entire realm. She was expecting to be asked to leave the Astromancers, and even had everything packed, just in case.

"You asked to see me, Starmaster?" Proxima asked.

"Yes," Nova Terron said. "Geraldine and I rekindled our relationship, and I would like to explore different dimensions with her. Because of that, I will need a replacement for my position as Head Astromancer."

"That's exciting," Proxima said. "But with all due respect, why are you telling me this, and not the other Astromancers? Do they know yet?"

"I called you here first because I want you to be my replacement," Nova Terron said.

Proxima couldn't believe what she was hearing. "But I..."

Nova Terron raised his hand, signaling for Proxima to stop. "I know you have gone down a dark path. But you are intelligent and responsible, and when you were free from the mask's influence, you did what you could to make things right. You will be a great Starmistress, if you accept."

Proxima couldn't believe it. There was no way someone like her, who betrayed the Astromancers, could ever lead them. And even if she could forgive herself, she was still too young. She was about to reject the offer, believing someone else would be better suited for the role, but then she thought of the Mysticons. They were around her age, and Piper even younger, but they still faced evil that threatened the realm, even with their own struggles. And, as Starmistress, she would be in a perfect position to help the Mysticons, as well as the realm.

"Thank you, Starmaster," Proxima said. "I accept."

Played a bunch of Activision cartridges on the 2600 tonight. River Raid is a serious ton of fun, as is Seaquest. Also played a half dozen rounds of Boxing, which I think has given me carpel tunnel syndrome.
