That familiar fierce gaze of a resistance leader had met Souther's own. His head held high, Shuu spoke.

" I know you're stubborn, Souther, but I came with deal. " Shuu told him,

" ... If you allow the children to return home to their families-- all of them-- not only will I complete that mausoleum of yours myself, but... " Slight hesitation. But, Shuu continued on. This was necessary. If he could do this... Maybe he could get two birds with one stone. If he could get Souther to perhaps remember the warmth of compassion, of benevolence...!

" ... I will stay within your Empire and be stripped of my title as being a resistance leader. And instead... I will do whatever you ask of me. Just as long as the children are allowed to return to their families and for all of them to be safe. "

What an interesting proposal, Souther thought.

Too think that after all these years...this was his offer. They fought side by side together so long ago, and split because of the stupid child. Now, after countless years of fighting; of death and devastation on both ends. Shu now comes and tries to file for a truce in this way?

Souther could have his fun with this.

"You," He breathes out, pointing to Shu with a wide eyed expression. "Listen to me; your wish will be granted. You will shed your role as my enemy, and become mine."
