This was a long shot and she knew it.  Hell, Nikki wasn’t even sure if these things were real.  The alpha is going purely on sparked curiosity from lore she’d read in an old library book.  

But a dream eater, the chance to finally, finally be rid of her nightmares.  It’s all she could think of as she tails the male.  The perfectly human looking, human smelling male that she was bound to spook if she didn’t work up the nerve to approach him soon.

  For a long time, Jinsol believed that she was the only one on land. The only mermaid -- or better said siren -- on land. Never would the female had guessed to come across another one who grew up in a similar way, the blonde did not know that yet. She was taking a break close to the river, away from schedules and other things, a minute to herself seemed to be all the siren needed. And always close to water. It would have remained a minute if it was not for a certain presence that resembled her own. “Uh... I’m sorry, do we know each other?”

  “If you need an interior designer, I can be of help. With everything else, however, I’m afraid you need to find someone else,” the dragon greeted her unexpected visitor. Ever since she came here, Ultima tried hard not to draw attention, she blended in perfectly. Not that it really was a problem for someone who was born into this world with the knowledge of what she was, embracing both humanity and the soul of a dragon. Expression cautious, the female anticipated the other’s response before she made a ( perhaps irrational ) move.

Considering how much you've been talking about Tifa, she really is a precious muse to you. Your way of writing Tifa is really easy-going and it's so visible how much you want to write her. It seems like Tifa comes so naturally from you without struggles. I don't know how you do this but her thoughts, manners, way of speaking and all that makes your Tifa really vivid.

  Kanna did not answer immediately but she kept her gaze on the other, a gaze full of empathy and understanding. Aiko very much sounded like the kitsune’s younger brother a long time ago. When he could not stand himself and hated every little bit that made Hyunwoo Hyunwoo. “What about now?” Kanna questioned, voice cautious yet gentle. “Do you still turn the mirrors, Aiko-san?” She just could not help the Japanese suffix, when she started talking from the heart, her first and second language mixed up, her heritage of no importance but verbally, it still peeked through. “I hope that you can love yourself now. I… I am not an expert in self-confidence and love but when I’m good at one thing it’s listening to people and be there with them.”

For her sake, the substitute grim reaper would take on the challenge and face whatever monstrosity was targeting the young woman. Both hands laid gently on her shoulders yet gave them a short squeeze in reassurance, a genuine gesture if you looked into his eyes. “Tell me, anything will do. Any detail. You know I’ll protect you, right?”
