For some reason I can't get it out of my head that she has two rooms, in two different homes. One is where she lives al El Sin Nombre and the other is her childhood home. One room matches the theme of being a crime lord and the other? It's pink with faded wall paper and stuffed animals still on her bed. Exactly how she left it when she was torn from her parents, and when she gets to overwhelmed she goes off the grid and just sits in her old room and cries.

You and Spencer were inseparable. Together through thick and thin, You never saw one without the other So you always fought tooth and nail to be on the same cases as each other and it oh so very rarely went south, and even when it did, everything was usually fine but... This time was different.

Your hands were hand cuffed above your head and blood poured from the bullet wounds on your chest, you could see Spencer visibly tense up and you could see his anger in the way he clenched his jaw and in how his hands balled into fists and in the way his eyes narrowed. But he never spoke up, he didn't dare, he knew it'd only put you in greater danger. Even when you screamed when a blade was dragged down your arm and when another bullet lodged itself in your skin. This last one found it's new home in your abdomen, lovingly nestled in between your intestine walls. But Spencer was quiet the entire time, he did kick you every now and then when you'd call out your captors to pull attention away from Spencer. You knew you'd get and ear full after, if you survived, this. But it was all worth it, you knew Spencer had a better chance at a good job in the BAU and that he'd have a better life that you would. So you didn't see why you shouldn't distract the captors. In between the cycles of bullets and what not they put you through, when they'd leave the room, Spencer would look at you. His eyes laced with concern as he watch your labored breaths leave your punctured lungs.

"Hey... you doin' okay?

He'd ask, knowing that you weren't, but hoping you'd honestly answer him.

"Just peachy," you'd joke and choke on your spit, "I'll heal"

You'd add right before they'd walk back in and continue their questioning. You knew you'd only have to last a bit longer until the team would arrive and save you both, or at least Spencer. So when the cold metal of the gun was pressed against your temple you looked up with a defeated smile. You heard Spencer scream something but all you could hear was the man in front of you, demanding your last words. Your head slowly turned to Spencer and you gave him such a gentle smile, as if you weren't about to be killed.

"I love you Spence, ya know that?" "Wha... What do you mean?!" He'd yell, panic evident in his voice making you laugh weakly.

"I guess you'll never know Dr. Reid, but I love you..."

You spoke one last time before a gun shot rang through the building, followed by a broken scream from Spencer.

Your brains filled the room, a beautiful display of your brilliant mind that Spencer had fallen so stupidly and helplessly in love with. You had always complained that your mind was always running but now it was at a standstill. The team arrived just after that, and as soon as Spencer was out of those handcuffs he was holding you. A gut-wrenching sob left his lips as he held you tight, begging and screaming for you to breath or to just open your eyes but... nothing happened. You were gone... and for the first time in his life, Spencer felt... alone. Completely and utterly alone.
