‘The final part of Solas’ regret prison traps Rook in a fake reality where they can live a life free of their biggest regret which is to have been around to fight to save her parents from being killed and slowly but surely the prison whittles away Rook’s memories of the outside world as a way to prevent them from wanting to escape but eventually Rook realizes theyre living the same day over and over again and every time they do the regret prison reacts accordingly and holds on tighter thus forcing the crew to work harder at locating them and needing to do a lot more to pull her out, so Emmrich uses a spell to convert an important object of hers essentially destroying it in the real world and having Spite absorb it so he can find Rook in the Fade and is the only one who can go in and out of the Fade Prison using the magic of that artifact as a homing beacon to Rook’s soul’ and then it just never went anywhere bc in winter of 2024 i hit the worst writers block imaginable and it still ahsnt gone away i think about that sometimes
