In my previous post, I went on a heated rant about not doing anything. when faced with the opportunity. Funny how in the next reading my point is reinforced. Nothing is more irritating to me than that evasion of responsibility, that cop-out, and that shrug of responsibility. That is what is keeping our country from Humanity. It is SO important that we as students learning about these topics never cop out and never evade.
Today in health class we were talking about suicide and our teacher was saying statistics like in a group of 25 1 in 12 kids will actually commit suicide and nobody was suprised. We had no reaction. Our society is used to suicide. And something needs to change
