Normally Hongbin liked children, normally he thought they were cute and fun to watch, and sometimes he really really wanted children. But today, he almost wished it was illegal to bring children to pastry shops.
Because he was alone, he had been busy wrapping up a box of donuts for a customer, when a child had gotten passed him into his back-room, and tipped over an entire shelf filled with cupcakes, making all of them inedible and ruined. Then he had gotten yelled at by the child’s parent for not paying attention.
Now he was cleaning up the mess, having had to temporarily close his small shop since he worked there alone. He had a lump in his throat. He was angry and sad, he hated being yelled at, and there was frosting and cupcakes everywhere.
