“What?” Despite the words being said, Jack’s tone of voice wasn’t harsh at all - if anything, for once he was being polite, for Jack at any rate, by asking Lav to repeat herself. “I wasn’t listening,” he admitted quietly, and made a face. “Bit hungover. Sorry.” Which was honestly an understatement, but whatever. He didn’t regret it. The alcohol had been pretty necessary to forget, and he was honestly already planning when he would drink again.

“Sorry, what did you say?” Iris was in the middle of putting her hair up when the question was asked, and she looked up, attempting a reassuring smile - she was really trying to work on not being a bitch immediately, although certain people at Luxor did make that particularly difficult for her. Although to be fair, without generalising a gender, the issue was mostly the guys rather than the girls. She recognised the blonde from around Luxor, knew she had a flower name - Rose? Daisy? No, Lavender - and a pretty boyfriend to match, and there was really no reason to be judgemental so she tried to hold back as she listened. “Oh, you wanna borrow my guidebook? Here,” she held it out, one hand still holding onto the ponytail she was frantically trying to secure in place. “Was there anything specific you were planning on going and seeing? I can’t find my partner, so....”
