Luis Gil is taking the mound for the Yankees today. His last outing was very, very, very bad. He only threw 77 pitches and was taken out of the game. His ERA is currently 13.5. Yes, you read that right. First batter... home run. It's gonna be a long day... again

Why is someone with a double digit ERA our starting pitcher? That's not a good idea, and we are already down one run after one batter, which makes my point very well, dontcha think? To be honest, I don't think that Aaron Boone thinks at all, but that is a rant for another day... 😁🤣

Valdez just walked a run in for us to tie the game so maybe these two pitchers today are evenly matched. Bases are loaded with no outs for the Yankees. I'd love to see Ben Rice hit a grand slam. One can dream... 😁😁😁 I have faith in my boys... always...

With his 51st pitch, Luis Gil strikes out José Altuve!! Luis seems to be finding his rhythm again. Yippee!!!

The Yankees are playing the Cubs at Wrigley Field today. Wrigley Field is the second oldest ballpark, having been built it in 1914. It's the first time that Yankees have played at Wrigley Field since 2017. I hope that pitching does well today. Luis Gil is our starting pitcher. Time will tell if he's worked through his problems on the mound. Let's go Yankees!!!!!
