The last time we saw Jeanette Anwar, she was rushing into the darkness of the old building, because she’d seen her best friend disappear and heard her bloodcurdling screams. Cairo! Cairo! Oh Jesus! Fueled by pure adrenaline, she spotted an iron pipe and proceeded to beat the darkened shadow about the head, until he loosened his chokehold on Cairo and fell unconscious to the floor in a heap of blood. Jeanette quickly fixed her arms around her friend and dragged her towards the light. Once safely outside, she called the police and then tended to her friend. As the police arrived, The only thing that the two women could do was to hold onto one another and sit in silence. Only after the police emerged from he building carting the crumpled mass of a bloody form did the two friends breakdown. After awhile, Jeanette mustered the courage to call Octavius, Cairo’s husband, and tell him what had happened. Before long, Cairo Addison and husband Octavius Addison were on their way home, with Octavius vowing never to agree with his wife going on vacations without him.
