𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝗕𝟭 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗿 The New Orleans Saints have officially named rookie Spencer Rattler their starting quarterback for the 2025 season. Head coach Kellen Moore made the announcement Tuesday, just weeks before the team's Week 1 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on September 7. Rattler takes the helm after veteran quarterback Derek Carr retired this offseason. The rookie beat out 2025 second-round draft pick Tyler Shough for the coveted starting job, earning the trust of the coaching staff to lead the offense.
