Event Recap: The Startup Diaries
The Startup Diaries Recap. Last Thursday, we hosted our first of a series of events called "The Startup Diaries" at Cooley LLP in midtown. Cooley, a law firm that provides legal advice to several well known startups, was kind enough to host over 70 of our guests for an open and honest discussion about female entrepreneurship where panelists shared their candid dos, don'ts and details of launching a business. The panelists included Tze Chun of Uprise Art, Jessica Brondo of Admittedly, Melissa Thompson of Talk Session & Julie Sygiel of Dear Kate and it was moderated by our very own CCO, Pooja Badlani.
Panelists were asked questions about subjects that are often top of mind in the startup world but not always top of conversation, such as personal finance, managing stress, balancing relationships and biggest achievements to date as entrepreneurs. The panel was followed by networking with wine and cheese. Each guest also received a gift bag including items provided by Rank & Style, Pür Minerals, Dear Kate & Uprise Art.
We are so thankful for those of you who attended...especially in spite of the brisk weather! Due to an overwhelming response, our plan is to turn this event into a quarterly series, with a goal to hold the next one this Spring. We welcome your feedback as we plan future events - please email [email protected] with comments or suggestions, and to stay on top of all Rank & Style event & list news, please sign up for our newsletter here!
