Messed around with this map making website and mapped my sona's home continent of Russayn.

Protoa Senta, a Starvix stranded long from home.

Made a younger version of my Sona at about 52~ (which is roughly the Starvix age equivalent for about 15 and a few months) for a 'self insert' style PLA protag replacement!

I absolutely adore Nucleon from Pokemon Uranium, and they're cannon in my Sona's pokeverse.

She also has a Lampent because angst potential with Ingo, and it's one of my favorite regional varient fakemon I've made myself.

Okay so mildy obssesed with @/monsoon-of-art's PokeRus AU and a looong train of thought later I came up with how it effects my Sona's species.

For example this little sketch of my Sona on PokeRus:

So basically the beginning of tranformation of the DNA to a pokemon's causes the carefully balanced Starvix DNA to splinter and rapidly mutate causing the affected Starvix to become an amalgam of the DNA parts of a Starvix plus whatever pokemon are nearby.

The name Amalgasen, comes from Amalgam and the Starvix word for creature (Sen) [The starvix word for 'sapient creature' is Vix]

I'd been meaning to redraw my sona for a long time, but it kept not turning out the way I wanted. But I was finally able to get it sorted out and finally finished! Hopefully I will be able to do the rest of what I wanted, because I'm actually giving her some sort of 'lore' (mostly to accommodate the fact I keep changing her appearance frequently 😅) but in a nutshell her species is called Starvix and she's solidified star plasma and can shapeshift to blend in with inhabitants of wherever she is, though she can't change her crystallized core color, shape, or size, and it must be exposed because light is her life force and the corr must be able to absorb it

Still working out the rest of her lore but that's essentially the 'rules' I have in place for her at the moment

Got myself a new Starvixi (my sona's species, which I made) pokemon AU, Submas flavoured.

Ingo gets dropped in Sinnoh's past, as usual. But Emmet gets dropped on a completely different planet, same amount of time ago, but on an alien world.

Emmet, unlike Ingo, retains all memory of his past (but knocked unconcious) and is taken in by some concerned Starvix who saw this alien man get dropped from a hole in the sky.

Ofc Emmet's first instinct is to challenge these kind strangers to a pokemon battle, because:

'a whole new world of a whole new people, who are trainers, which means whole new variety of battle techniques with new moves and new pokemon'

He still ends up winning.

And then realizes "Where's Ingo" and spends the next few days looking for him with the help of the people who found him.

Obviously they don't end up finding anything, but the Vix that found him take him to the nearby City to try find help there as one of them 'knows a guy who knows a guy who knows a....'

The city is a bittersweer sight as it's the train capital of the planet, with rail lines webbing to any major settlement on Twideim (the planet).

Eventually after many failed searches, and many won battles, he becomes the electric type gym leader of the city. And now has life extending tech, it's usually used in Starvixi pokeballs due to their 12k year long lifespan and the desire to prolong their pokemon partner's lifespan to match their own.

Emmet ends up using the Twideimian varient of Chandelure, honoring his brother, his own Galvantula and Eelektross, and an Emolga to rember Elesa (because this is a nimbasa trio household 😤)

Anyways jump a few centuries and Emmet decides to start teaching a young aspiring trainer, Protoa (working name) who wants to be a gym leader herself when she grows up.

Que found family shenanigans and the kid, now in her early 50's (which is still only like being 15 for her kind so still a child) ends up being eebie deebied to good ol Unova, which obviously is not good for the mental health of someone whose lived way last his natural life expectancy and lost everyone and everything he knew save for him and his brother's pokemon.

Elesa in the meantime would be challenged by a hooded figure..
