Calling the morning that one Amalia Flatbush had woken up in a rough one would have been an understatement. The moment that she had opened her eyes and petals, Kars, the glue-crazed Skull, had misguidedly tried to apologize for a several-months-old incident by giving her a paper heart covered in glitter. If that had not been involved in said debacle, she would have been slightly touched. As it was, however, it seemed as though that he had learned nothing, which had put her in a foul mood, and him afraid that she was going to go after him again with the words she had flung at him.
Then, at breakfast, Firestarter, (who, as her name would imply, was something of a troublemaker) had misaimed a small missile when attempting to get rid of a fly. So badly, in fact, that despite Amalia eating at her own separate table outside for health reasons, half of the other children had fallen through the window into her food.
And then after they had all taken baths and showers to clean themselves up (and that included her) Peter, a Serpent, had trampled her when running out of the bathroom. That had been her absolute breaking point, and she had attacked him...
And now, here she was, both in the stupid time-out corner and grounded once again.
