MARCH 24TH
I’m super excited for this new cycle coming up. I’ve been spending the last few days clearing away a nasty bit of darkness from my life and really really meditating to cleanse myself. I’ve never performed a moon ritual before but I have long since associated Sophia- my understanding of the Holy Spirit- with the moon. I see the Holy Trinity in alchemical terms, YHWH (the sun) is breathed, or reflected through RUAH (the moon) and realized through YESHUA (the son) who lives within. The Mother Deity represented as Ruah is Sophia and has always been the creative force in our lives.
Anyways, I feel that a bit of- ‘’as above, so below; as within, so without; as the universe, so the soul’’- is in order. I have bought myself three candles to use as I state my intentions to God as I understand it. This will be a period of fasting, prayer and meditation for me. I will write a detailed description of, not only the practice, but of how it felt to undergo. Please understand that, like with all things I write about, this is a highly individualized practice. That being said, I will still share my insights while I embark on this journey.
