WISDOM ASKS FOR DISCIPLINE
“The Advocate, the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name—he will teach you everything and remind you of all that told you… that you might know that devotion to God is mightier than all else.”
“For Wisdom- the Artisan of all taught me.”
There are meditations involving the energy centers along our spine that make this understanding more concrete that I’ll cover in a video on Monday but I wanted to share these passages with you guys. The path of the mystic is one of study, discernment, and reflection. We are to nourish the mind, body, and soul. Each part of our walks with the Divine is important as it’s almost impossible to understand interconnectedness without satisfying our intellects and digesting the deeper truths.
Saying the heart has wisdom the head knows not means very little when our minds are stumbling around in the dark looking for the light switch. We intellectuals tend to be very egotistical and convinced of our faculties. Any time that becomes the case I have found it easiest to satisfy the mind by feeding it inescapable truths. Sometimes that requires a fair amount of discipline.
Again, I’ll go into detail on all this next week and explain the full understanding but for now. Look at these verses. Meditate on them. Ask yourselves what they mean to you.
