Gonna sound old, but I despise how new phones don't have earbud jacks, I use cheap wired earbuds and refuse to go buy an expensive Bluetooth set that if they break somehow (I'm outside a lot) I can't replace or repurpose in any way (I use the wire for projects/cosplay).
I hate how almost everything is digital media that is expensive and can be gone within seconds just because a company wants you to pay more/something goes wrong. I hate that people don't use or find purpose in physical dvds, books, vhs tapes, etc. because they're seen as pointless. I'm not going to pay money for a greedy music corporation to shove ai generated garbage into my feed.
It is so so so important for everyone to create/own physical forms of media especially in the current climate. Preserve history, download your favorite music on cds/tapes/vinyl, learn how to make your own clothing, learn some bushcraft skills for survival. I cannot stress how important this is, everyone is using ai for the simplest tasks and are refusing to actually learn. Write down recipes or tutorials, print out whatever you want to keep a physical copy of. It just takes one foul swoop to remove everything you've owned digitally without payback or renewal. I'm tired of local small fairs and cons being flooded with ai images taking the spots of real artists who needed a booth to make money. I'm tired of how ai is ruining people's mindset/critical thinking and attention. I hate how unsympathetic humans have become, so much more after 2020 compared to prior (surprisingly).
Support real artists, real musicians, real *people*.
