My Productive Study day
I am very lazy in general so when it's time to have a full productive day, I struggle a lot but somehow I pull through.
So, here are five little things I do to make sure I get things done and keep me motivated.
1) Wake up early morning
- I don't mean at 5am because that's torture, instead wake up at a reasonable time like 9am/10am
- Waking up in the morning instead at 2pm helps you get ready and prepare yourself to work
2) Find a comfortable place
- This could be anywhere, your bed(My favourite), desk, on the floor (also my favourite), or at uni where you're around people.
- I work best alone, and more productive when I'm alone so your comfortable place really depends on you.
3) Background noise
- I don't mean loud banging/talking, I mean something that will help you relax and keep calm
- I always have a calming playlist on when I work this helps me relax and be productive at the same time
- This can also be a tv show/ movie you just put on in the background and vibe
4) Don't sit on one place and work for hours
- Never overwork yourself, only do what you are capable of doing that day (if you essay is due next day, this is different but I will address that later)
- Take regular breaks - even if it's scrolling through social media, watching video or two, getting a snack
- Make sure to move in-between so you dont feel restricted, this way you dont lose your "comfortable place"
5) Have a rough plan
- Write down or have a mental list of things you hope to get done that day
- Make a rough plan when and how much time you are willing to spend on these tasks
These things honestly help me keep going, everyone is different so what works for me may not work for you but IT MIGHT so theres definitely no harm in trying new ways. TRUST ME.... I am still experimenting and just jotting down things that works for me as I go.
Thank you so much ya'll for reading this, I hope this was helpful for you and make sure to tell me your thoughts and feelings.
Till next time Lovelies x
