I took several days off for a short stay-vaction and it’s been wonderful.

I’ve hung out with friends, watched movies, and been very lazy. I finished my monster McDanno story and sent it out to my first beta and I’ve already started my next story (one-shot this time). I’ve also read and commented on a lot of fic!

I figured out how to make tags show up on my dashboard, so I created links for the main 5 or 6 that I use. \o/  I know it seems silly, but I’m quite happy that I finally figured out how to do that.

I have done tons of adulting. I went to the thrift store and bought frames for prints that have collected dust and I hung them up!

And I’ve finally made appointment to enter a first time home-buyer’s program! It’s taken almost 3 years, but I fixed my credit from all the horrible stuff that the ex-Mr999 did. I am so relieved. \o/ \o/ I fought tooth and nail and raised it 200 points! I made a decision to mention this on my blog, because I want others to know that if you hit rock bottom financially, and you’re scared and depressed and feel like there is no hope-- there is a way to climb back out of that pit. It takes planning and work, but it can happen!

I’ve reached the point where I can see looking for a home in the next year or year in a half as an actual reality while I save for a down payment.

I have two more days off before I go back to work and I’m just going to wallow in writing and reading.   :)
