These Steak Nachos are the ultimate game-day snack or party appetizer. Tender slices of seasoned flank steak, melted cheddar cheese, and fresh toppings come together to create a mouthwatering and satisfying dish that everyone will love.
Ingredients: 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 teaspoon chili powder. 1/2 teaspoon cumin. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 bag tortilla chips. 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese. 1 cup diced tomatoes. 1/2 cup diced red onion. 1/2 cup sliced jalapeos optional. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1/4 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup guacamole. 1/4 cup salsa.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. In a mixing bowl, combine the thinly sliced flank steak with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the steak evenly with the seasonings. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned flank steak and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips. On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the tortilla chips. Evenly distribute the sliced flank steak, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, and sliced jalapeos if using over the cheese-covered chips. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the nachos are heated through. Remove the nachos from the oven, and sprinkle them with chopped fresh cilantro. Serve the steak nachos hot with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa on the side for dipping. Enjoy your delicious steak nachos!
