Loki Headcanon
The reason Sylvie is so against being referred to as “a Loki” is because the TVA kept/keeps trying to tell her that she was “supposed to be” Loki, and she’s very angry about them trying to erase the fact that she chose to be Sylvie.
It’s almost a low-key trans allegory.
