Right, so we need to talk more about steamlock (steampunk Sherlock).  Imagine John with intricate, badass mechanisms on his shoulder due to his injury.  Sherlock in the kitchen with giant aviator goggles pushed back to make his curls even more unruly as he rant about an experiment.  Chases on top of London as criminals dart between levels that are connected by occasional hovering platforms to carry passengers across the city.  Standoffs in the sky on steam powered hovercraft balloons.  The Met all with special equipment attached to their arms that can be contorted into the appropriate weapon to catch criminals.  Sherlock’s jacket covered in bronze gears that flash whenever he flips off into the night.  Mycroft with his umbrella that’s actually got all these catches that can transform it into all sorts of useful gadgets.  John carrying around a steam powered gun that lets out a dramatic puff of smoke that encircles him each time he shoots it.  Gears and bronze and gadgets literally EVERYWHERE.  Just...steamlock, guys.
