5 Things I'm Ecstatic About for AnomalyCon 2015
5 Things I’m Ecstatic About for AnomalyCon 2015
1) The Schedule
Every year the schedule at Anomaly Con gets bigger, bolder, and with cooler guests. I’m happy to say this is my third year at the event. It’s been such an experience to watch it grow in the way that it has. The panels at Anomaly Con are also tackling heavier topics, and the Safety/Sexuality panels I’m on I’ll take particular pride in as a husband and father.
So Charming, Not Creepy…

Post Con Rundown
Well, Fanime/Clockwork Alchemy this year was fantastic...
...according to everyone who was not either worked into the ground OR sick with the flu for the last two days >_< it took seven years of staffing Fanime weekend but it finally happened.
The little I saw was the usual parade of gorgeous costumes, interesting programming, fantastic performances and friendly faces. Big props to the tea room for its excellent staff, and big props to the huge improvements made to both registration and shuttle services from the absolute catastrophe that they were last year. I'm happy to report that lines for reg and shuttle were almost entirely eliminated this time around, thanks to an overhaul in the registration system and better communication with shuttles.
I didn't take any pictures because I was either busy on shift, forgot my phone while on shift, or that whole bedridden for two days part :( so I am sorry that I can't contribute any of my own steampunk convention pictures to this blog just yet.
For those out there who went, I hope you had a wonderful time. I look forward to seeing you next year, when hopefully I'm not patient zero for con crud ^_^;;
Need something to do this weekend? Look no further than the Weekend in Geek!
It's Clockwork Alchemy Day Zero!
Who else is spending their Memorial Day weekend ensconced in the brassy bosom of their steampunk family? :D Be it Clockwork Alchemy, FanimeCon, Anime Minneapolis (for the SPG crowd) or anywhere else, I wish you all thrilling adventures and warm memories this weekend! I will be posting my own pictures from CA here throughout the weekend. Wheee!!! (Can you tell I'm excited I'm so excited omg why isn't it 5:00 yet stupid day job)
